EXAMS, X-RAYS AND CLEANINGS

A comprehensive dental exam will be performed by your dentist. You will also receive a professional dental cleaning.
The examination will include the following:

• Oral cancer screening
• Periodontal evaluation
• Examination of teeth
• Examination of existing restorations.
• X-rays (radiographs)

PERIODONTAL TREATMENT

Periodontal treatment is the treatment and prevention of gum disease. The treatment of periodontal disease includes scaling and root planning (deep cleaning) and in more advanced situations surgery. At Reliance Dental Care Dr. Dempsey a board certified Periodontist helps patients treat and manage their Periodontal condition.

ROOT CANAL THERAPY

Root canal treatments are needed when the nerve inside the tooth is damaged due to trauma or extensive tooth decay. Root canal treatment involves the removal of the infected nerve tissue and filling the root canal space. A root canal treated tooth is permanently restored with a crown. It may also need a build up with a post prior to placement of a crown.

A healthy smile will make a significant difference in your life. We at Reliance Dental Care offer all aspects of restorative dental care including fillings crowns and bridges and implants.

EXTRACTIONS

When teeth cannot be saved due to tooth decay, periodontal disease or other conditions they may need to be extracted. We do some extractions in the office. If we feel that the extraction is better done in an oral surgery office we would refer you to the right office.

If the natural teeth cannot be saved or if they are already lost, we can improve your function and esthetics by fabricating partial or complete dentures.

DIGITAL X-RAY

In our office we use digital x-rays for better diagnosis with less radiation to the patient.

When you are in pain we would try our very best to see you the same day and do what is needed to make you comfortable.
